PALINGS BAR & GRILL AT IVY

Just a 40 minute train ride from the Western Suburbs to Wynyard Station, out to George St and in to Palings Lane. This lunch date was worth it. I struggled trying to walk through station to station in my new $10 shoes from Targé (Target). I thought it was my chance to “break in to them” but it was a bad idea altogether. I limped every step of the way while my cousin and best friend laughed LOL “the audacity”. We got to Palings at around 1:20pm. I was exhausted and hungry but at the same time amazed with the atmosphere and vibe this place was giving me. This was the beginning of my Merivale experience. Olive crusted lamb shoulder with charred zucchini, rosemary oil, tomato and tzatziki - I was in heaven! If ever you’re around Sydney and need a break from the Zinger Boxes and snack packs, here’s a place you must visit. Thanks Mrs Sue and Mr Fimoné for a great catch up.
